Rusty's Seafood and Oyster Bar

Our First time at Rusty's (2023) was on a random trip to Cape Canaveral to watch some cruise ships and walk around the port area. We stopped in for some lunch and I have to tell you I was pleasantly surprised! I loved the open, friendly atmosphere and the fried calimari appetizer was some of the best I have ever had. The patio area with live music and outdoor bar looked amazing. We will have to try it at some point. My Seafood pasta and cocktails were DELICIOUS. On our next visit in 2026 we also had the calimari and I had a Grouper sandwich that was OUTSTANDING. Both trips the service was excellent and the restroom clean and well stocked. Highly recommended!

I love the setting, the environment was great! They had a live singer on the deck, they had a decent amount of people sitting with their children. Huge shout out to my server Madison! We visited last Saturday, and sat outside. It was cool seeing the big barges. The food was pretty good - I got the calamari appetizer and it was fabulous. He got the fish dip - it was one of the better that I’ve ever had. The scallops we ordered grilled, they were a little bland - still good. The shrimp was so good! We also got steak - was awesome! And the key lime pie was THE BEST! Service was good, Matt was our server.

We started with the fish dip appetizer, which was very good. It had a rich, smoky flavor and a great creamy texture, paired nicely with crackers, celery sticks, and rice crackers. The shrimp scampi pasta was also excellent. It was full of flavor, with perfectly cooked shrimp, sautéed spinach, mushrooms, and a light but savory sauce. The seasoning was spot-on, and the lemon and garlic bread added a nice finishing touch. Overall, a very satisfying dish. Highly recommend both!

Had the black bean & rice with blackened chicken ... excellent! Wife had the spinach salad which was fresh and very good. We shared desserts of key lime pie and chocolate brownie; both are excellent and I think that the key lime pie is the best anywhere!
