Ross’ Grill is a Provincetown must every time we visit. First discovered thanks to the owners of the Queen Vic who recommended it during our stay there, it has quickly become a favorite of ours. The view is stunning, but it’s the food and staff that keep us coming back. We started with an Aperol spritz and enjoyed the view for a bit. Then we shared risotto (two orders!), coconut shrimp, and tried from the specials menu the scallops with a celery purée and the soft shell crab—all delicious and paired perfectly with a French rosé. One steak frites rounded out the meal although we couldn’t resist the Lemon Crème Brulée for dessert served with homemade whipped cream. Service was warm and attentive. Pro tip: make a reservation—it books up fast, even the bar. Yes, it’s that good!
Food was delicious, great presentation and perfect portions. The waitress was very pleasant and informative. The risotto was to die for and the short rib was amazing too.
Delicious food. Beautiful scenery with outdoor second level seating. The food to a while to come out, but I suspect that is because it was fresh. I had the fish and chips. The fries seemed like they were fresh and hand cut. Perfect potato flavor. Just slightly greasier than they should have been, but not too much. Everything was very good.
Ross’ was delicious, point blank. The French onion soup is just as everyone says, to die for. My dining partner had the special lobster and corn chowder which he said was really good as well. He had the Tuscan Cod as his entree, the cod was wonderful with the lightest crust. I ordered the pork chop which was wonderfully mustard forward with delicious garlic mash. I’m not a huge asparagus fan, so I do wish it had been a different vegetable, if I’m being nit-picky. Overall a wonderful dining experience, definitely recommend and will be back!
Delicious 😋 food. I had the escargots in a puff pastry, and the lobster, shrimp, and scallops rissoto. My first time trying escargot, and it was amazing. Rich, creamy and full of flavor. The puff was very buttery soft. I felt the portion of the lobster, scallops, and shrimp rissoto was on the smaller side.
