Reading House of Pizza

I usually get my pizza from Reading House. It is soo good. A friend recently told me she gets the steak tips and always bragged about how good they were. I ordered the steak tip dinner with salad & house dressing with steak fries. The steak tips were out of this world flavorful. For a local pizza shop, you would not be disappointed. Family owned and very pleasant owners. Two thumbs up for your good food.

Convenient not a bad location, friendly enough- a little pushy Butt they charge extra fees for even cheese and on a hot sub chicken kebab. They made me pay extra for the mushrooms peppers and onions so lunch ends up being $20. Not worth the added cost sorry Charging à la cart outside, the menu is deceiving Charge the price you mean don’t change when I asked for tomatoes kind of rude. No one will know what the how special is because that’s our arbitrary.

I order here for my staff a few times weekly because it’s quick and usually the food is good. Ordered today, my sandwich happened to be not what was ordered. I called and was explaining the situation to which I was met with “it must have been ordered wrong because we double check”. I get it some people trying to put one over and get free stuff, but when a place of business calls and tells you something was incorrect, doesn’t seem like something you want to brush off and you would want to try to help.

Honestly, this place hits the spot every time. Their chicken + jalapeño + red onion pizza is easily the best thing on the menu. The mix of spice and flavor is perfect - and trust me, make sure you ask for red onion when you order. It just makes the whole thing. Always fresh, always consistent, and the staff are super nice too. One of my go-to spots in Reading.

I was in yesterday afternoon. I got a roast beef sub with sauce and cheese. Curveball though, I wanted the golden BBQ sauce. It isn't quite the James River, but it was very good, and a little different. I will return!
