Nella's Pizza

This is by far my favorite pizza place in town. The food is always delicious and the people always friendly. I can't recommend them enough to anyone in town or passing through!

Oh my was this place a hit! Found it through Marriott Eat Around Town. Small local spot with the nicest employees. I believe the owner (lady) also helped me. I asked to try their sweet sauce as a sample and she happily made some more. I then asked to do a mix of it with the traditional sauce on my pizza which she happily obliged. Order the small meat lovers and every bit of it tasted like high quality fresh ingredients. The dough was perfectly cooked. The bacon was crispy and the other meats tasted great. Their pizza prices for the quality are excellent. It was $16.99 for the 12" which was a perfect size. I did manage to eat the whole thing myself. Delicious food. Friendly staff. Clean restaurant. I got the meatball sub, topped with mozzarella cheese and toasted to perfection. I also got a slice of pepperoni pizza that was delicious. My friend got a chicken parmesan sub, topped with mozzarella cheese and toasted. He also got a slice of cheese pizza. The chicken was thin and breaded and was delicious. We talked to the owner who was very friendly.

Two stars purely based on the quality of chicken on their pizza. Not sure what type of chicken substitute this is but it’s spongy. Why can’t restaurants use real chicken?!? The quality of the food matters when you charge a premium.

Nella's food is always great, but I was disappointed with a recent delivery order. We ordered on a Saturday evening at about 6pm. On the website when ordering it said 'delivery could be up to 75 minutes.' Our order took 90 minutes to deliver. I understand Saturday evenings can be busy, but if you set expectations correctly, customers can make an informed decision as to whether or not they want to place the order and wait. When you're hungry (and have kids waiting to eat) an extra 15 minutes makes a big difference. Don't say 75 if it is really going to be 90. If you are busy, be accurate and transparent in your timing. If you can't accurately estimate delivery timing, then get a new system.
