I’ve been to Rancharitos in Woods Cross several times and usually have good experiences, but today was disappointing. I ordered a bacon breakfast burrito but was charged for a steak breakfast burrito, which is more expensive. I also asked for both red and green sauces but was only given green. The bigger concern was when I cut the burrito in half and found a plastic plug inside (see photo). Mistakes happen, but that’s a serious food safety issue that needs to be addressed. I’m sharing this so the owner and staff are aware, because I’ve enjoyed this place before and would like to continue coming back—but today’s visit left me concerned.
I was very Disappointed in my food today. I ordered five rolled tacos witch I love, but today I got home with my order and they were not deep fried… just blanched 🤷🏽♂️ March 8, at 1:30 Not sure where the breakdown happened maybe a new cook or a hung over cook. Definitely not there best effort.
We’ve always enjoyed Rancherito’s. The food is usually good, and the staff tends to be friendly, which is why we’ve continued returning. However, today’s visit raised a concern that affected our experience. While we were there, my husband noticed the cashier helping a customer and then going to refill the horchata machine. The machine was empty, and before putting on gloves, she inserted a plug inside the machine with her bare hands. She did use gloves afterward to pour the new horchata in, but by that point the plug (which comes into direct contact with the drink) had already been touched without gloves. We understand that restaurants get busy, but proper hygiene is essential, especially when handling parts that interact directly with beverages. This isn’t something we’ve seen here befo
We took our whole family here for their grand opening and it did not disappoint! We ordered kids quesadillas, a chicken chimichanga combo plate, a cheese enchilada platter and churros. It was delicious and the food came out fast! The customer service was also over the top! We will definitely be coming back!
This location charges an arm and a leg for a subpar burrito and they still forget the red and green sauce. smh never going back. Food was tasteless bland and dry. food is too expensive to be taken advantage of. I highly recommend the centerville location over this one. Much higher quality and the service is ten times better. You can actually communicate with the workers at the centerville location instead of them yelling back WHAT???! Multiple times at the woods cross location being rude. Do better.
