Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream - Woods Cross

Good variety of ice cream and ice cream products. Everything that I have tried has been good. I wish it had more tables or more of a eat-in atmosphere but you will likely want to get your food and go.

Very cute little place but note there is no real seating inside with the exception of a few metal benches. The ice cream was delicious and the small was huge! I got the waffle bowl with strawberry ice cream and it was just delicious and fruity! My friend got the pumpkin pie and it was delicious and not too sweet. Employees were very friendly, helpful, and let us have samples. Plenty of parking out front. The smallest options was about 5.70 and consists and 3 scoops. Wish there was a smaller size! Restaurant was very clean and well kept.

I am conflicted on what rating to give, so I will start with the ice cream flavors. The ice cream is tasty and flavorful. There are a bunch of flavors to select from. However, I have been here two times, and they are always out of something. Last time, they didn't have a sprinkle waffle bowl. This time, I wanted a normal blonde brownie hot fudge sundae. I was disappointed when they were out of blonde brownies. What shocked me was they were also out of vanilla ice cream AND whipped cream! I couldn't believe it. An ice cream shop being out of vanilla ice cream and whipped cream is like a burger shop being out of burgers. It's outrageous! The situation sounds like a bit from a comedy. Alas, it is the reality of this place: they are consistently out of something every time I visit. Because

Well I don't know what the "Karen" is talking about. The ice cream was incredibly delicious and we didn't wait at all. There are two girls working hard and there's a continuous flow of people. Thanks for sharing your amazing homemade ice cream with us. We will definitely be back

We have a friend who highly recommended Handel's ice cream, saying all other ice cream places served "slimey" ice cream, and that Handel's is creamy and clean. And the ice cream IS creamy and clean, and they have fun flavors. We went there and got the 4 sampler pack (in my opinion, the best deal cost - and variety-wise) a couple of times and really enjoyed the flavors. Each time, we've gotten the Raspberry Chocolate Chunk because the fruit+chocolate combo is good! All of their chocolate varieties are spot on also.
