Ramia Island Taste

The music playing outside of the restaurant is what originally caught my attention. I love reggae music. I then looked online to see what options were available and the food looked amazing. I am vegan, so I was extremely excited to see a vegan option on the menu. I walked in and was instantly greeted with a smile and assisted by the nice gentleman behind the counter. I ordered the coconut curried chickpea plate with rice and peas (I requested jerk sauce on my rice), veggies and plantain. All I can say is that the chef did not miss! Very tasty food. I will be back.

Just stopped by my favorite spot in Morrow. I always get the jerk salmon but asked if I can get the salmon done like the coconut curried Chickpea and they said sure. I was not disappointed!!! I asked for no rice and when I opened the box the smell was everything. I highly recommend you try their coconut curried salmon.

I had high expectations based on the reviews (4.7) like why are you all lying. Believe the ones that say that it is very bland & nothing wow. Cabbage tasted very weird, maybe chemical-like. Chicken was just meh & it did not have much meat, rice & peas were somewhat sweet which i didn’t expect, but i was served plenty of rice so i guess thats good. Wouldn’t come back to this place, Jamaican food can be very expensive & it sucks when it’s not good. The drink i had was purely sugar! Do not recommend the place, it also does not look very clean or presentable. They can do way better. Everything is very outdated. Edit: i still stand on what i said.

This was a blessing! I stopped in this restaurant after shopping in the area. I just happen to be parked in the parking lot and looked up and saw the name. I have to admit I did check the reviews before going in and in general folks thought the food was good. So I checked them out. I ordered jerk chicken, cabbage and peas and rice for takeout. When I got home I started to taste the food and couldn’t stop! The jerk was delicious with just enough spice and the savory coconut flavor in the rice got me😂. This food was Amazing! I will definitely return again.

Went in after a long day on the road, the customer service was so nice. I went in just for a patty but when that smell hit me I knew had to walk out with a plate. I wasn’t sure what I wanted and the lady there was so sweet and patient with me and my grandmother. THE FOOD MADE ME SO HAPPY I DECIDED TO TRY SOMEWHERE NEW TODAY. Love the jerk chicken and rice and peas 😋😋😋 I wish I lived closer but I’ll be back everytime I go to the airport.
