Papelon

Today I bought churros at Papelon and it was a very disappointing experience. The churros we received were burnt and had very little dulce de leche and chocolate on top. We had ordered Nutella and dulce de leche, but instead they used regular chocolate. When we went back to explain the situation, they told us that adding Nutella would be an extra charge, even though that is exactly what we had ordered and paid for. The food quality and customer service were very poor, and overall it was a very frustrating experience.

We just ate here for the 1st time and the food was delicious. I got the triple burger and fries, my husband had one of the signature dishes with steak, chicken, and sausage. My son had the empanadas.

A very cozy ambiance, with food for all taste buds. The flavor is there with every bite. I have tried a lot of the arepas, which always hits the spot, as well as their cachapas. Their homemade drinks are amazing. Service is wonderful. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a good bite and a good time!

I was a little confused at first but you can either order up front or just sit down and wait for your order to be taken. I had the arepa papellon and it was amazing! I didn't know such a combo could taste sooo good!! My husband had the chicken arepas which were good too. Also, they have an allergy sign before you order so check that out.

The customer service was very good, however, the Empanadas were just average. They were freshly made and hot, but even with sauce they were just not flavorful. I would be willing to return to try other dishes.
