⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our anniversary tradition is to dress up in our wedding outfits and go out for a fun night — after all, the dress is too nice to only wear once! This year we celebrated at Post 1917 in Reading, and it was perfect. We started with cocktails — an “Executive Martini” for Eddie and an “Alkali Sky” for me — and a classic shrimp cocktail to share. For entrées, Eddie enjoyed the lamb chops with a lobster add-on, while I had the filet mignon. The sides of crispy Brussels sprouts and golden tater tots were the ideal complements. We paired everything with a bottle of Justin Isosceles, which was a fantastic match for both of our meals and made the evening feel extra special. Special shout out to Roberto for the wine suggestion and Allie for her attentive (but not hovering service).

As soon as we walked in there was an attitude. 3 of us sat at the bar and they wanted to make sure right away that we were there for drinks and dinner. We were so that was fine but again there was some attitude. Then the bar waiter touted the menu and told us we had to order all our food at one time. Well OK. We did and usually do, but thought that was an unnecessary request. While sitting at the bar the wait staff were complaining of another customer that ordered a wedge salad for her meal. They went on about that for a while. Me and my husband’s drinks were empty. I only have one drink so there was an attitude and comment about that. 2 out of 3 of our forks were bent. When we told them about that the comment (again with attitude like it was our fault) was that we won the lottery. No your

I don't do reviews...I just don't. However, I recently came to Post 1917 with a buddy to visit Chef Jason - an old friend - and see what he was up to. Had heard he opened a few really hot steak joints and was eager to check it out and catch up. Where to begin.... Top Notch in EVERY way doesn't do justice to this place. From the greeting at the door, to the perfect spot at the bar, to the personal escort from Chef Jason himself, this place has it dialed in. Not only was the food perfect, but the ambiance, the surrounding crowd of folks there (friendly as hell!) and the attentiveness from the entire staff was 2nd to none. Chef Jason is a hands on guy - checking in with guests constantly to ensure the food and experience are measuring up. I've been to 100's or restaurants over the last

We went in November to celebrate our birthdays and from the moment we walked in - EVERYTHING was phenomenal!!!!! I would give 100 stars if I could - the service, atmosphere, food, drinks were Awesome!!!!! A very nice touch was a hand written birthday card to us when we sat down to dinner - I still have the card 😊 I recommend POST 1917

We were looking forward to having a delicious dinner at Post in reading, but unfortunately things went downhill quickly. I can say that having ordered the Tenderloin I would never expect to be served an End Cut. We complained to the Bar tender but he didn’t seem to care for our comment. So what I think the owner of this establishment should know is that a High End Steak House never ever serves an End Cut.
