Great place to walk/bike/relax.
It was very sunny on the day when we visited. Very popular destination, dog friendly, nice vawes.
My hometown of Half Moon Bay, went to spread my mom's ashes and visit friends.
If you hike the trail from Poplar Beach to the Francis campground with your dogs check yourself for ticks afterwards. My dog and I each had a tick on us when we got home 3 hours later. I know there's a lot of wildlife around like deer and squirrels and birds so be careful they each might be carrying ticks.
