Fish Wife Sweets Shop

The first time, we came a bit late last time and the famous lemon bars were sold out. The second time, the shop closed. Here the third time, I finally got a chance to try the lemon bars. I got a box of four for 16 dollars. It is a steal! One bar is big and flavor packed enough to share with another (no guilt if you want to eat the whole thing by yourself). The lemon bar is just right for me in terms of the sweetness and sourness. The plus is that it is topped with nuts to make the texture fun and more delicious from the nuttiness. I also got a nutella cookie that look more like a mini pie. It is so decadent! It is no brainer to get a box of sweets here so that you can spread love and sweetness to those around you!

HANDS DOWN THE BEST SWEETS IVE EVER HAD. My husband and I are from Charlotte, NC. We came out to California for vacation in May 2023 and were driving down Hwy 1. We stopped in the town to see the shops and stretch our legs. Needless to say we stumbled upon fish wife sweets and HOLY MOLY. I wanted to buy one of everything. We settled on the smores cookie and the churro bars. I remember them to this day and dream about eating them again. Planning the next time when I can fly out to get more haha.

Wide variety of baked goods in individual wrappers and party things. The birthday cake cupcake was well done, and the flourless chocolate cake was gooey and dense. The rice crispy treat was a close second, but the frosting layer on it made it a bit too sweet for me. This store is very fun. I overheard that they bake everything fresh each day.

Fish Wife Sweets recently did all the desserts for my daughter's bat mitzvah party at Long Branch Farms. She was a dream to work with! We had a western theme and we brainstormed flavors for a pie and cobbler bar for the event. It was a highlight of the evening! We had individual cherry, olallieberry and peach pies, and lemon, brownie and caramel apple cobbler bars. Everything was SO good! She also made a smash cake for my 4 year old niece whose birthday was that day. It was great to be able to brainstorm and customize everything to get just what we wanted. We also appreciated that she jumped right in when we needed a little extra help with set-up - a true team player! Would highly recommend, and will definitely be using again!

I ordered a pumpkin pie and caramel apple pie for Thanksgiving. Both were absolutely delish!! The apple pie is amazing when warmed. My favorite breakfast treat! Yum!!
