Haven't visited this Beach in many years. There's a nice bathroom in Pilar Point. It gets crowded on the weekends. You have the surfers, surf lessons, and of course the city tourists. There's a food truck across in the small parking lot. Lots of nice restaurants and brewery in HMB. You won't get hungry.
My experience at the beach was above and beyond what I expected it to be. The sand was nice and parking is somewhat easy to find on the street. Water was 56° without a wetsuit. Highly recommend if you want to play on the waves or do some body boarding or surfing.
Very popular with surfers. Very close to the highway.
Nice beach with lot of surfers 🏄♂️ 🏄♀️, with parking across the street. Beach is very close to the road and nice for a relaxed stroll.
