Customer Reviews
Stopped off at Dawn Patrol with a friend, due to the high reviews. The service was fast and staff were very friendly and happy to explain menu items. However, the coffee itself was very very sweet. Too sweet almost. The caramel in my drink was not well mixed and we both ended up not drinking more than half of our respected drinks. Also, the prices were quite high. We paid about $17 for two drinks. If you are looking for a quick cup in the HMB harbor area, go for it. Otherwise there might be better options elsewhere.
Friendly crew, fantastic coffee, and a great roast selection. The fire pit seating area is the best part—cozy, relaxed, and very “coastside.” Perfect bike-to-the-beach stop or warm-up spot after a chilly coastal ride.
Walking north in Half Moon Bay toward Mavericks, it was the last coffee place I could find. And as luck would have it, it was great. Small place. It's built out of a couple of metal freight containers. They have a few nice coffee blends and all the basic drinks. Few yummy eats as well. I enjoyed the latte with oat milk. Comes with 4 shots, but you know, it wasn't overly strong. Tasted fantastic. And for a mid-morning snack, the locally made hummingbird bread. Fresh and homemade. See photo for label info. Service was ok. It worked but not that friendly. The best thing about Dawn Patrol is the seating area. A few little seat pockets, a few of them under a sturdily built, covered structure. And a gas-powered fire pit also. Quiet location.
Corky and cute place to stop and slow down a bit. The staff was phenomenal. I was going just for a coffee but the avocado toast sounded good. At $8, completely worth it. Amazing toast. There wasn’t enough, though; I finished it too fast. I wasn’t impressed with the light roast coffee, though. Maybe because it was in the afternoon and not completely fresh. Everything else was a win. Good spot, plenty of parking, good seating. But what impressed me the most, were the baristas. Great and friendly!
Such a beautiful gem ✨💗 this coffee place and it's lovely owner made my day when the Jetlag woke me up early and i could get an amazing freshly brewed coffee and a tasty bagel at 6am and enjoy it at the Seaside. Thank you!
