Had a great day on the island and ended up here to eat. They have a great menu, the food we got was delicious. We came off season, end of September, and that is highly recommended by "me"
The food in the smoker smells so good and we can smell it from a mile away! As soon as I saw the smoker I knew I had to try their food. The atmosphere is pleasant. The staff were amazing and knowledgeable. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The price is reasonable and well worth it. I tried the delicious Mac n cheese with brisket. I let my friend try it, she nearly ate my plate of food. I highly recommend it!
Perfect comfort food in great location, good service. We had great food here last year and had to go back. Mac&Cheese was heavenly and truffle fries are addictive. We liked the BBQ. S’more pizza was perfectly done. Quahog was great! (Think called stuffies? Everyone was happy and just perfect after a day on the beach.
We were in the island 4 days and ended up eating here 3 times. We were very impressed by the food quantity, quality, and quickness. The lobster roll had a generous amount of delicious fresh lobster. The Mac and cheese was well made and came in a small cast iron pan. One of the servers said people don’t order the spinach artichoke dip enough and they are missing out… and she was right. Creamiest cheesiest dip served in a bread bowl. Fries have a nice salt on them. Our final time there one of us ordered the veggie burger for the first time-it was a strange taste and texture and looked as though it had freezer burn. The server told us they are not frozen so that couldn’t be the case and that what we were seeing was Panko. We asked to order something else which is not something we typically do
Spent the day on Block Island and decided to grab dinner here. Very casual atmosphere - typical island vibe. Was greeted and seated very promptly. Our server was extremely pleasant, friendly, and took very good care of us. Cocktails (raspberry mojito and a Jameson iced coffee) were tasty, but not overly strong. We both had French onion soup to start. The soup was good - loaded with onions and with nicely melted cheese on top. The Local Burger was very tasty. While it was a bit greasy, I appreciated the fact that the burger was hand formed. The bun had a hard time staying together given the grease content. Overall though, this was a well flavored burger. We finished with a cast iron skillet chocolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream.
