The Darius Inn

Loved my stay at the Darius. The rooms are adorable, the visible mending and unique art selection really added to the charm. As other reviews have mentioned the breakfast is a highlight - it was such a a lovely way to start the day. I had some of the best sleep here and felt incredibly comfortable. They have the chicness and service of a hotel but the comfort of staying with a friend. Will definitely return when I'm on Block Island, highly recommend!

My husband and I visited Block Island for the first time ever for my cousin’s wedding, and we couldn’t have been more happy with our accommodations at the Darius Inn. The hosts were exceptional! Readily available to handle any request. Chill and friendly. You can tell they take pride in what they do and the care and attention they give to making sure your stay is great, is beyond perfect. The vibe of the place is just super fun, too. This boutique hotel is just off the main strip, so you have a little privacy, but are still close to everything. It was a Captain’s house built in the 1800’s, and so it has A LOT of character. And the hosts decor, so beautifully compliments that character, it's clean and tidy, with a sweet boho coastal vibe. I absolutely love The Darius and look forward to our stay each year. The homemade breakfast is always healthy with tons of options. The rooms are hip and fun, everything is super clean. The location is fantastic as its steps from the beach while being close to the ferry. Our dog loves the front patio, some rooms are dog friendly. I can’t recommend this place highly enough, it truly is an awesome spot.

Christy and Becca are wonderful hosts, very attentive, personable and welcoming. They served freshly prepared, home cooked, delicious breakfast from 8-10; wine and cheese happy hour from 5-6. The inn is in a perfect location, across the street from the beach, and walking distance to restaurants, shops and the ferry. Beach chairs, towel and umbrellas are provided! The decor is artsy, eclectic, fun and colorful. Rooms are comfortable, cozy and homey. Soaps provide are incredible for your skin and hair! Several areas inside and out to relax and hang out in. Great place to stay, highly recommended, we will be back!

We had an amazing stay at The Darius Inn on Block Island. You can’t beat the location! Easily walkable to restaurants, shopping, the beach and nightlife. The service is attentive and friendly. It feels like you’re staying with family it’s so easy, relaxing and familiar. We were checked out and were booked for the late ferry home and they let us use beach chairs, towels, and the outdoor shower during the day. What a lovely experience! We will be back and I can’t recommend The Darius Inn enough!
