Pineapple Cafe

First time here. If there was an award for the most bland tasting food in the city, this place would win. The homemade chips are fine. I had the daily special of half chicken salad sandwich with a cup of chicken and rice soup. The bread for the sandwich was basic store bought wheat. The chicken salad itself had a ok taste but nothing special. The chicken and rice soup was the biggest disappointment. Watery, no seasoning or flavor at all. There was hardly any chicken in the soup base and the rice was mush. I would not recommend this place to anyone or ever go back

Horrible experience at Pineapple Cafe. The staff was rude and unwelcoming, and the service was slow. The food was disappointing and not worth the price. Definitely not going back

Great find today for lunch, this place is nice, service is great, the Bakery looks amazing, and the food was delicious. I guess the cookies sell out quick so if you’re wanting them get there early.

I absolutely love the honey mustard chicken wrap and waffle fries from here. This is all I ever order since this is my favorite and they make it best in Elizabeth City. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Sometimes the service can be slow but that is because lunch is always busy here during the work week!

Terrible customer service. I understand if they are short staffed, but the server only came to my table once and that was to take my order. No smile, no I'll be right with you no nothing. I was very patient and just went to the front to get what I needed. But the 2 ladies ignored my presence until I spoke up and told them what I needed. Hopefully it was just an off day.
