Pasquotank County Library

Pasquotank County in Elizabeth City the library needs extra help on the 2nd floor(computer desk). Takes a long wait(6-8 min) at times for someone to assist if that one individual(staff) is down stairs or up stairs doing other tasks away from desk with no other staff to help receive cash for copies from printer, etc etc, especially when patron may have to leave for other appointment(s). Down stairs(1st floor) staff are on point. Thank you for any improvements going forward.

The staff is always friendly and helpful. I love coming here to study. Update 1/21/26: The black lady on the second floor always has an attitude and is rude. She is also never willing to help you find anything. The first-floor staff is great, but I won't be coming back after multiple experiences with the lady on the second floor. Your tone of voice and the way you say things are important. (I tried reporting her nasty behavior.)

Updated 2/16/23 Have really enjoyed this library and their services since moving here in 2016. Every member of the staff is helpful and friendly. I also enjoy their used book sale section. Easy to browse since it is set up so nicely.

Great library with an awesome selection. Their ongoing book sale is a definite bonus, but it's really the staff that make this a great library to visit. I enjoy seeing the monthly displays, I usually end up getting at least one book of every time. I also appreciate they do interlibrary loans, so I can still get books from other libraries in the EARL system without having to drive all over creation to borrow or return titles. A great resource in books AND movies (new and old) that I use as often as I can.

Staff are so friendly & welcoming, easy to talk to, and extremely willing to help. Children's area is a large room full of a wonderful selection of books and there are toys, puzzles & puppets to play with as well. There are 2 story times a week, one for ages 3-5 on Teusdays & another for ages 1-2 (on Wednesdays). There are other events such as movie nights & a book club. Also, interlibrary loans are swift & seamless! This is hands down the best library I've been to!!!
