Everything was very nice and the staff were very friendly. They had some different pickled vegetable variations and a different fridge and they had more than just the poke balls available. So you had choices. I chose A civil kind of Pringles Black, truffle and Black pepper Pringles chirashi bowl an onigiri with kombu + tuna mayo.. it was really satisfying.
If you are looking for a typical poke bowl, I do not recommend this place. The options are very limited compared to other poke restaurants. You cannot choose basic vegetables, and rice is the only option. There is no brown rice, so I had to choose sushi rice even though I didn’t want it. The staff was also unfriendly. The store did not seem very busy, but I waited much longer than expected. What was more frustrating was that customers who ordered after me received their food first. Poke bowls should be made in order, and this showed very poor organization. They also seemed short-staffed. I visited while traveling, but I would not come back again.
Paradise poke is a clean and inviting poke/local foods spot. I would put them up with the top dogs in terms of poke. I didn’t get a chance to taste their plated food but everything sounded amazing. I ordered the 2 choice poke bowl. I got the Hawaiian Alaea style with the Ginger scallion combos with the yuzu cucumbers. The bowl was so refreshing and the fish was amazingly fresh. This won’t be the last time I’ll be visiting.
I happened to find this place and decided to give it a try. The food had a comforting, homemade taste that really hit the spot. You can choose your type of rice, and for the side, you get to pick between seaweed or cucumber. It also comes with pickled ginger, which was a nice touch. Everything was good!
Welcoming and friendly restaurant with Delicious food and polite servers. Locals favorite place to enjoy good food and hang out. Highly recomended!!
