Pancake House

Got like the island standard which was eggs bacon hash browns and toast and along with a cinnamon roll, and coffee. Coffee showed up with coffee grounds in it which should’ve been a sign to go. Cinnamon roll was dry, hash browns were definitely reheated from being made earlier along with the bacon, that or they got the same bacon from a holiday inn continental breakfast. The eggs were probably the worst or part as they had a weird plastic taste to them. I’m not one to leave bad reviews but something needs to change here.

We are at Mackinac island for the day and stopped in today to eat breakfast. Their homemade waffles with strawberries and whip cream were delicious!!!! There wasn’t a wait to get a table but the wait to get our food felt like forever, we watched two tables that got seated after us get their food first which was frustrating. It was also very loud in there and for breakfast we felt it was very expensive, why I knocked a star off. For reference, for 4 people to eat breakfast and 2 drinking coffee it was $75 before tip!

Great food! The wait time was quick even though we had a party of 9 plus a baby. We enjoyed our meal immensely and had fun picking out the fudge we’d buy after eating.

We just had breakfast here this morning. The pancakes are incredible. Other breakfast items offered were fair, and the price is reasonable for the island. Service was fair, but I asked for and was led to believe I could get a modification on my omelet that didn't happen 😞, but still enjoyed my meal. There is no restroom on site, which sucks but the public bathroom off mainstreet is nearby so we were able to manage just fine.

No frills great breakfast for a reasonable price. Wait staff is friendly and fast. It can be a bit hectic so arrive early. It is also a bit cramped space wise.
