Panagiotas Taste of Greece

Stop what you're doing and go here. We have Greek family so we know authentic Greek verses what most people call Greek and they are the real deal! We stopped in on a whim and the staff was so friendly and happy to give us time and answer any questions. We decided to go for Panagiotas Table so we could try a handful of different things. The portions were great and the food was even better. We cant wait to go back and try more. Or even the same thing again, it was that good. It's not on the menu but they'll make Greek frappe, too. I wish them the best and hope to see them around for a long, long time. Best Greek restaurant in the tri-state!

The food overall was pretty good. The chicken skewers over rice were tasty. The Flaming saganaki was excessively greasy, but the flavor over all was decent, could have used a little more seasoning. The overall wait was a little long but they dealt with it well and treated us well. The atmosphere is cute/quaint. Prices weren't bad, maybe a little on the pricey side, but not terrible. Cheesecake was good but the texture was a little odd. The creme brulee part is nice too, but there was a lot of sanding sugar on the plate when brought out, so maybe present it on another plate or brulee all the sugar? ... hubby said ice cream was good but way too much cinnamon. Overall, would definitely go back and try more another time.

I wish I lived closer to Shepherdstown so I could eat here more often. Anytime I get a chance, I swing in for the food and service. The restaurant is beautiful. Recently, I attended the Taste of Tuscany event. The selections of wine were FABULOUS! I am not a huge fan of red wine but I enjoyed all five red wines. The white wine was AMAZING! They have a white bean lemon infused soup that is delicious.

Stop what you are doing and dine here! Not only was the atmosphere welcoming, sophisticated, and friendly, but the food was phenomenal. We went on a Sheperdstown Ghost Tour and smelt every delicious aroma leaving this place, having us practically drooling while we walked around. We knew we HAD to dine here. We enjoyed the Greek Meatball and Kalamari (spelling specific to the menu,) appetizers. Out of this world! Their marinara is delicious, and that was some of the largest calamari pieces we had seen, EVER. My husband enjoyed a traditional gyro, which was incredibly flavorful. My daughter had the children's pasta and sauce (again bringing in that delicious marinara.) I had the Athenian chicken breast with the Greek green beans instead of rice and my goodness! That sweet and salty balsamic,

We had a fantastic dining experience! The restaurant’s beautiful Greek-themed decor made for a delightful atmosphere, and it’s clear they’ve put effort into modernizing the space. Our hostess and server were friendly and attentive, adding to the overall great service. The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish bursting with flavor and prepared to perfection. It’s also a great spot for families—my kids found plenty of yummy options on the menu, which made the meal even more enjoyable. Highly recommend for a family-friendly meal with excellent service!
