Top tier breakfast Sammy! They have other goods and a nice grab and go for people looking for a “quickie”. They were decently busy this Thursday but cranked out my Sammy in about 5 mins. Extremely fresh ingredients. Sourdough bread was delightful. Excited to try more of the “goods”. Excellent service. Well done!
Arrived at noon on a Thursday. Busy. Six bar stools at the counter. 3 small tables with 3 chairs each. Most occupied. Lucked out two open bar stools. This is primary a vegan food and latte place. A stead stream of middle aged housewifes passed through. My wife had the rice bowl with ginger beet latte. I had the Italian sandwich with spicy latte. Drinks arrived first, the beet was red with a middle sweetness, my spicy was flavored with Korean chochugaru. Had some depth but not overpowering. The sandwich arrived next, lightly toasted freshly made focaccia. Lite on the palette, good mix of flavors, satisfying. The rice bowl arrived, plenty of piles of fresh chicken, mushrooms, cauliflower over a bed of rice. With tax and tip $45 lunch for two.
Beautiful, high quality food! I wish I had food like this near me in Kirkland! It’s clear they create everything with care. I don’t know what else to say because I’m just so jazzed about this place. I had the mushroom tartine on gf adventure bread with side salad which was DELICIOUS and so nutrient dense, the ginger beer spritzer that was perfectly not sweet, the amazing bone broth yummm, and some pastry goodies!
I had the egg sandwich for the fist time about a year ago and thought to myself, "I think this is the best fried egg sandwich I've ever had." I'm visiting the area again and I made my way back over to Oxalis. I ordered the egg sandwich and can say with certainty, it is the best egg sandwich. The bread, the simplicity and the flavor of all the ingredients just make it hands down the best egg sandwich. Thank you and keep up the great work.
Oh my gosh!!! So good! The flatbreads are my fav! But the veggie and meaty sandwich is amazing too! Got the breakfast sandwich and latte the following visit. Everything here is AMAZING!
