Ono Steak & Shrimp

We stumbled upon this gem of a steak and shrimp place tucked away in Honolulu, and wow—what a phenomenal meal! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was perfect: casual yet welcoming, with that unmistakable Hawaiian laid-back energy mixed with the sizzle of a serious kitchen. We went straight for the signature steak and shrimp combo, and it did not disappoint. The steak was a cooked to a perfect medium-rare. Juicy, tender, with a gorgeous sear and just the right amount of seasoning that let the quality of the beef shine—no heavy sauces needed. It had that melt-in-your-mouth texture you hope for in Hawaii, where fresh ingredients are king. My go-to spot for protein after a workout. I used to always struggle trying to find a place where I could get steak and shrimp after the gym, and it just so happens that Ono S&S set up shop not even a minute away from my house. Went there for the first time with my dad and, I'll be honest, my expectations were not that high. I'm glad I was wrong though. Their steak is ALWAYS well seasoned and cooked, served with great shrimp and a salad. If anyone is looking for a good source of protein as a post workout meal or even just craving for steak as a plate lunch, PLEASE do yourself a favor and stop by Ono Steak and Shrimp in Kalihi.

Food was BROKE DA MOUTH ono!!!! Steak was perfect and shrimp ....wow. Will definitely go back.
