KUDOs. Quick, efficient service; all front business handled by ONE person who greets, takes orders, chats, closes bill and cleans up. Food tasty; we ordered butterfish and bulgogi/bbq chicken combo. Definitely recommended; will return. CHALLENGEs. NOT undesirable but know that this is an older, simple establishment. Duct tape seals tears in furniture, assorted dinnerware.
Stopped by for lunch after Moana Waterfalls hike. Located in the nice little plaza, Moana Marketplace with plenty of parking. We had a bimbimbop and galbibtang. Both were fine, but not special. The galbitsng had an egg and some radish in it, which was a first for me, but they were fine. The kimchi, however, could use some improvement as it lacked the tastes that I’m used to.
Stumbled upon this place after doing laundry at the Manoa Laundromat. Service was extremely quick and friendly! No wait time at all, and our food arrived in a very shockingly quick manner. As for the food, it was absolutely amazing. The Oxtail soup had a very unique taste, absolutely different from anything I’ve ever had. Despite new flavors, som dishes were still very familiar to me, like the seafood pancake, which tasted just the way I love it. Will definitely be a regular!
This is a great place for a quick sit down dinner. The Kalbi came out on a hot platter. The meat jun was nice and well done. This is a go-to for tasty Korean food.
I really enjoyed the food. We got a combo (combo D I think) and shared it between two people. Although the portion was a bit smaller than expected, it was quite good. I also really liked the side dishes which are pictured below. The cucumber one was so good! The food did take quite a bit to be served (it was 1pm), but there was only 1 person at the front.
