Nine Mile

We went for an early dinner (5pm) and it was already full so that says everything. We ordered a light and refreshing beer, two Kingston 12 entrees and got the mango vinaigrette on our salads. The flavors were fresh and bursting. We finished our dinner with a slice of the chocolate cake, and we never get dessert out, but this dessert was well worth it. It was moist and creamy with a rich chocolate flavor followed by a slight kick from the pepper.

I can’t wait to go here again! I also can’t believe I lived in Asheville for a decade and hadn’t ever actually made my way to one of these locations. I’m dairy free and generally have a sensitive stomach, but the Jamaican Me Thirsty bowl with tofu was packed with flavor, was the perfect portion, and left my stomach with NO ACHES. Amazing, bubbly, very helpful waitress. It wasn’t packed on a silent Sunday night, which was to our benefit I’m sure. Very happy with this stop on our “food tour.” Would highly recommend!

food was so good. literally my whole family lover each their dishes. I got cool runnings with chicken and cavatappi subbed in for rice. The queso sauce was so flavorful and hearty with all the veggies in it too. black beans on the side paired well too. my fam got irie ites with tofu and rice, the meshach with chicken, and the kingston with tofu and rice. i also ordered a fresh kombucha on tap that was blueberry lavendar i think and it was good and not sour and didn’t have a bunch of sugar added. The root beer on tap i sampled and it was good i just didn’t order it to avoid sugar, and because i just love kombucha instead in general. our appetizer salad was fresh and the bread was yummy too. the vibes inside the restaurant were also so cozy and comfy. So glad we decided to come to this restaurant. Came in from out of town and saw this on a random search and could not have chosen better. We got here about 5:30 and there was a 45 min wait for a party of 4, but we were seated immediately at the bar. We order the 3 dip appetizer with salsa, hummus, and queso which was phenomenal. We also ordered beers from them, which we didn’t know were also brewed in house. Entrees we all ordered something different and could not have gotten anything better! We went with the cool runnings, more fyah, island in the sea, and one foundation. Emily was out server and could not have been better. Recommended a few other spots for us to check out on our weekend stay and recommended great dishes for us to try. Adding to our must go list for any time we visit!

came here for the first time for our anniversary dinner and loved everything start to finish. I don’t remember our servers name but he had a cool necklace on and took great care of us. My husband and I loved the fresh salads before our bowls came out and the natty bread (so much so he ordered more). The seafood was delicious and curry sauce had so much flavor. The best part was the portion size. This place was truly one of a kind (theres nothing like it back in Charleston). We would love to come back and try more of the menu as it was so difficult to pick entrees because everything sounded phenomenal. Keep doing what you do Nine Mile and thank you so much!!! <3
