Butterbug's Baked-to-Order

Got an unbelievably good king cake here for my son's birthday. Perfectly moist, beautiful presentation, and incredible taste! The owner was as nice as could be and easy to work with for a pickup time. The location was convenient and easy to find. Can't wait for the next cake!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We ordered a custom 6-inch vintage-style cake from Butterbug’s for my sister’s 30th birthday, and it was absolutely perfect! The design was gorgeous — every detail from the piping to the gold and disco ball accents was spot on. It looked exactly like the inspiration photo, but even better in person. And the flavor? Incredible. The house-made raspberry puree and fresh blueberries were so fresh and balanced perfectly with the frosting. Everyone loved it, and my sister was obsessed! Wendi was so kind, communicative, and easy to work with throughout the process. You can tell she truly cares about her craft and her customers. Wendi came to the rescue when an unexpected spinal surgery kept me from being with my daughter on her 20th birthday! She was away at college and Wendi put the Mom touches on her delivery, offering to purchase a birthday card, and throwing in a bouquet of flowers as a surprise. My daughter LOVED the delicious tarts and cupcakes (the NC Apple Caramel Cheesecake Tart was her favorite!) and we couldn't be more grateful! Thank you Wendi!!

Didn't get to work with her this time only because of scheduling but Wendi was extremely kind and seemed genuinely excited for the event I was planning. I loved the energy she gave even over the phone. She responded extremely quickly and was really helpful in narrowing ideas for me. Next event I will be sure to message her sooner so I can try out her awesome cakes. Would definitely recommend coming to her as you can't really beat top tier service like that. I also loved that she used text and not email but thats just my preference. And I also really appreciated how awesome she was at helping me steer my ideas for what I wanted.

Butterbug's is all around incredible. I was coming into town for my anniversary and Wendi answered all questions I had about her products. She replied promptly to every inquiry. The only thing better than her customer service is the actual product itself. We went by Odd's Cafe and purchased a slice of the Chocolate Salted Caramel cake and I can't even describe how delicious it was. So good in fact we diverted the plans we had for the next day to go back and not only get another slice of it but also tried the Lemon Rasberry cake. It was heavenly! If you are looking for a dessert that is second to none, PLEASE give Butterbug's a try. You will be very happy with your decision!
