Inn on Westwood

The Inn on Westwood is an absolutely lovely B&B in a fantastic West Asheville location. My husband and I stayed here during our wedding weekend. The Inn was so beautifully decorated, every space was extremely comfortable, and the baked goods were the most delicious treat each morning. Lucy was the best host and made sure everything about our stay was great. The setting made for some amazing "getting ready" photos as well.

I really enjoyed our stay here. We actually rented both suites between four couples and it was perfect. The house is perfectly decorated and stocked with a lot of essentials with even a few surprises in the fridge. The modern updates really tie in nicely to the charm of the house. ||There are quite a few great restaurants within walking distance. New Belgium Brewing is close enough to walk too, but I would recommend a ride share or taxi. You’ll thank me later. ;)||My only gripe would be that double beds are tough for couples especially if anyone is at least 6ft. We were in the king, so it wasn’t an issue for me and did not affect my personal rating. I did want to point that out for those reading this though.

I've never actually stayed here, but my cleaning service takes care of the place. From my perspective, the lodgings are beautiful. Historical home site in the heart of West Asheville. Walking distance to a number of bars and restaurants and a high end grocery store. The innkeeper is awesome and commodities such as breakfast, wine/beer, and information are provided. If I didn't live in this town, I'd definitely be interested in a stay here.

We stayed in the Atkinson suite. |What to love?|Huge space. They use their spaces for the wedding receptions so that kind of makes sense. You have a large dining/sitting room. A very handsome and well stocked kitchen. Two large bedrooms. One large formal living room. One nice sized bathroom. |The folks who run the place and bring the morning pastries are like lovely. ||The caveat. The two bedrooms are double beds. If you are traveling as a couple you will sleep in separate rooms.

What a wonderful place. Feels private even though there were others in the second unit. Nice amenities including bottles of wine, coffee and all the trimmings, granola bars, water and beer. Enjoyed the proximity to haywood....we walked there several times to eat at the local restaurants. Great location in Asheville. Will likely return with friends and rent vote sides...would be nice balance of privacy (separate kitchens and baths) but also connected living areas.
