We used Mabel bakery for our wedding and so happy we did! We met with Sarah ahead of time for our tasting and decided on catering our wedding with 3 types of cookies and a dessert bar. She was very communicative and worked with us to decide the perfect amount, flavors, etc. She had everything ready on time and ready for pick up the day before. The desserts were delicious! We highly recommend Mabel bakery for your next event!

One of my favorite bakeries in Asheville. So kind and helpful. Love the almond croissant and the stollen scone for the holidays was out of this world. They have a cinnamon sugar scone that’s incredible. Basically everything is so good and high quality. It’s such a cute little stop and a bright part of my mornings!

Yummy pastries and also natural home goods and gifts! I had a brown butter chocolate chunk cookie, a good size, ooey gooey inside and slightly crisp on the outside, huge chunks of chocolate, not too sweet, balanced by a sprinkle of salt. The caprese hand pie had intense tomato (dried?) and some of the cheese had leaked out and gotten crispy. Other items available when I visited late morning on a weekday: pimiento cheese scones, tarta de Santiago, pepper jack biscuits, triple ginger miso cookies, rye oatmeal raisin cookies, matcha shortbread, cinnamon rolls, and sourdough sandwich bread. There's also a good selection of home goods and gifts - cotton and linen aprons, beeswax candles and wraps, candlesticks, wooden spoons, trivets, kitchen towels, market bags, jars, jar grippers, seed cards,

Fantastic cookies: oatmeal raisin & the chocolate chip chuck. Cinnamon roll was good but would have been better warmed (warmed it at home and it brought out the soft yet chewy texture). We ate outside at one of the two tables. She had no forks to eat the cinnamon roll with.

Oh my gosh! We are so impressed! Small and charming and the baked good absolutely delicious. Triple ginger cookies are to die for and the best sourdough bread on the planet. Worth the drink from Abingdon, VA.
