North Lodge On Oakland Bed & Breakfast

We had a wonderful experience at the North Lodge to celebrate our 30th Anniversary. The house was amazing and the history of it and the neighborhood was so interesting. Chris was a wonderful host and the breakfasts he prepared were amazing. He was gracious to tweak them for our dietary needs. His offers of knowledge regarding visiting Asheville were greatly appreciated. Would highly recommend a stay at the North Lodge. We will definitely be staying again in the future.

My stay at North Lodge was so pleasant and enjoyable. I met a friend there for a few days in Asheville. We were greeted by the host on arrival and made to feel right at home. My room was cozy, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. My friend and I remarked about how soft and sleep inducing the sheets were. Breakfast is a delightful culinary affair at North Lodge! No slap dash continental breakfast here. We could tell thought and care went into the meal planning. It is so wonderful to start the day out with a delicious meal to fuel the day's activities. I felt very pampered. The location of North Lodge is close to Biltmore House as well as downtown Asheville and all that it has to offer. Highly recommend.

This is a beautiful bed and breakfast in Asheville minutes from Biltmore Estate and Antler Village. Our host, Chris was very accommodating letting us arrive early and begin our weekend. There were three couples of us and we had the whole of the house. It is quiet and serene. The 1904 house has been thoughtfully restored and is so elegant. I saw three of the bedrooms and they were equally nice. The parlor was ours to use and snacks and drinks are provided anytime we needed something. One couple ordered the chocolate covered strawberries and they were in the refrigerator at her convenience and they were delicious! But the highlight of our stay was breakfast! This was our third stay at North Lodge on Oakland, and we were not disappointed. The Location is perfect, minutes to all things Asheville, and the experience was top-notch. We celebrated our 14th wedding anniversary and enjoyed the Prosecco and chocolate strawberries! Overall, the home is beautiful, well maintained and warm and cozy. We love the Magnolia room, spacious and beyond comfortable. Chris, the owner/innkeeper, was very welcoming and provided a gourmet breakfast each day, and to say the food was excellent is an understatement! I would definitely recommend North Lodge on Oakland to anyone visiting Asheville, NC and looking for a bed and breakfast. I promise you won't be sorry.

We had a wonderful stay at North Lodge, which is located in a quiet residential area . Our gracious host,Chris, is also an incredible chef-every breakfast was a delicious culinary experience, which he tailored to meet everyone’s personal dietary needs. That is a feat in itself! Our room (the Carolina) was spacious, bed was so comfortable with thoughtfully provided amenities, a Keurig with a variety of options. The bathroom was clean,smelled great, always plenty of hot water and updated. Coffee,tea,cocoa,filtered water, sodas,granola bars are available in the dining area 24hrs a day. It was a lovely experience and we hope to return again in the future.
