Mug Shots Espresso - Burlington, WA

I very much wanted to love this place because it’s got a cozy interior and a friendly barista. That said, I got an oat milk latte that was so hot even with a sleeve, I couldn’t carry it without adding a napkin around it. I removed the lid and let it sit for five minutes and still it was boiling hot. The barista was kind enough to make me another but once I finally tasted the latte, it was a bit sour. Not sure if it was the coffee beans or the machinery, but something tasted off. Perhaps it was the excessive heat that impacted the overall flavor. My friend’s chai drink was OK but not great. My guess is that if you get one of their specialties, you would be happy but traditional coffeehouse drinks might not be their forte. Good service, good drinks. All around solid coffee shop on Burlington BLVD. They also have a coffee stand in Mount Vernon thats a good spot to stop at when you need a caffeine boost. Highly recommend both locations.

Mug shots is a must stop everytime I’m in town. Gracie makes the best drinks and sometimes when I don’t know what I want I have her surprise me and it’s always so yummy! The service is always amazing, quick but still personal somehow! Definitely recommend they have the best bagels as well.

Such a cute and yummy place. Out in the world drawing in coffee this one is very special. Girls are so friendly and kind. Looks like business strives to give you the best value, quality and experience. Must visit and make your favorite !

The place is nice but the service is severely lacking. Walked in to place an order and the barista was just sitting there talking to another lady for 10 mins. After that proceeded to tell me to wait as she took a drive through order that rolled in after me. I don’t mind waiting but she doesn’t even make the drinks good for the price. Would recommend anywhere else
