Huge lobster rolls! When a local fisherman of 40+ yrs recommends it, it’s gotta be the best. The clam chowder & clam cake special was delicious too. Quick friendly service & shady picnic tables 👌

Very disappointing, the clam cakes were very salty and had no clam favor at all. The lobster roll was small and tasted average, it costs $27.99 that's not worth. The Fish N Chips and the scallops are not bad. The overall is the food is expensive and taste so so. Not recommended.

The chowder was REALLY good, and the calamari was fresh. The fish and chips were average. A little dry. Ahi tuna tacos were excellent. Highly recommend this little spot- lots of picnic table to dine at.

⭐️ ⭐️ As a lifelong Rhode Islander, seafood is basically in my DNA. We live in the Ocean State, home of beaches, Del’s, and fresh seafood. So when my craving for fried whole bellies clams hit, we decided to give Monahan’s Clam Shack in Charlestown a try especially since their website advertise fresh whole bellies. Spoiler alert: the only thing fresh was the breeze while we waited in line. Well… let’s just say my expectations were swimming in Narragansett Bay, but the food came from a freezer somewhere in the Midwest. First things first: they don’t take online or phone orders. No biggie, we came prepared. But the line? Wrapped around the building like it was opening day at a Taylor Swift concert. Stopped here to grab some lunch while on our day trip. Very nice little spot. The outdoor seating area was clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was amazing. Fish tacos and coconut shrimp for the win 🤩
