The Charlestown Rathskeller

My partner and I went for Valentine's day and I got the bacon blue burger, I was having trouble eating it because it didn't agree with my stomach and our waitress brought me some kind of mixed gingerale concoction and didn't even put it on the bill. It's beautiful, my partner loved their surf and turf and the service was great!

Impromptu date night when out exploring Charlestown and saw this place had great reviews. Totally worth it! Food was so amazing that we will definitely be back and it's really reasonable as well. Atmosphere was warm and cozy with a fire by the bar! If you're looking for a date night, I highly recommend this place !!

This spot was recommended by a friend and we're so very glad we took the trip. For one it's a beautiful drive and the handicapped parking was convenient and fresh right next to deck entrance. We got there right before it got busy and the service was awesome. I loved the fireplace running and it has quite the cozy atmosphere. We decided to share a lot of platerb and not a single dish was a let down. Beautiful flavors on everything especially the stuffed clams. Probably the best I've ever had, the andouille flavor was a game changer.

Nice place good food we had burgers, DELICIOUS Mushroom Swiss burgers, cooked perfectly. Let me clue you in on the FRENCH FRIES-SHORT RIB AND GRAVY TOPPED. My goodness that gravy is so savory and has a depth of flavor that was outstanding-the gravy was littered with scrumptious, tender bits of beef short ribs 🤤🤯 They certainly do not skimp on portions! A small order fed two of us - with some to take home. Service was good our waitress Emma( I remembered to ask her name)was a delight , She took great care of us.I had the Summer Strawberry cocktail 🍸, very tasty also. Busy Saturday night. Locals love this place-I am not surprised. It has its own following. I'm glad we stopped in. Another place I look forward to coming back to.

Had a lovely birthday dinner here for a family member. The place is very cool and casual. Indoors, the AC was pumping, and it was playing loud music. We sat outside where it was more quiet and laid back. They have a big area for playing cornhole and even had a concert starting in another area. The concert was far enough away that we could hear it, but it was not loud or distracting. The food was very good. It has a German- American-Seafood vibe. Everyone was happy with their meals. Would definitely return.
