A Shore Thing at Charlestown Beach, LLC

This B&B is a true gem. Patty and Jen made my stay so pleasant. Their light filled rooms, building and grounds are very well maintained, charming and nicely appointed. Comfortable beds, nice towels and spacious. Porches on the front and back of the Inn are sweet places to relax as well as a fire pit circle for the evenings. The breakfast was fantastic, Brioche French toast, caramelized apples, scrambled eggs, bacon and fresh juice all were beautifully prepared and served in a lovely room was all more than I was expecting. A gift shop in a barn behind the house was the icing on the cake, filled with artistic home decor and personal items. They will make you feel welcome and completely at ease. My friend and I were in town for a wedding and needed to find accommodations close to the venue that wouldn't break the bank. We found A Shore Thing online and booked the Beachcomber Room for two nights. It was a small room with two twin beds foot-to-foot, and it was absolutely perfect for us. The location was very convenient to restaurants and the beach. The room is nicely appointed with comfortable beds, a decent size bathroom, and nice toiletries. The room is one of the cleanest places I've ever stayed. It's clear that a lot of attention to detail is given and the owners take a lot of pride in the property. I cannot say enough great things about this place and our stay here this past week in July. My daughter and I love Charlestown and the beaches, so we decided to stay at A Shore Thing. The Inn is charming, the rooms are super clean, and the grounds are just lovely. The breakfast is fantastic and well worth getting up for. Patty and Jen are very welcoming and do such a great job with every little detail. We shopped at The Barn and found some very cute items to take home. We just left and already can't wait to come back.

I had a Great Stay in November! The Location was for me very suitable as I visited a colleague who live close by. It’s a 5 min drive to the beach and a restaurant is across the street. The room is very nice, with a comfy bed and big shower. I most appreciated the service. The breakfast was home made and varied every morning. The owners took great care of me and in couldn’t have asked for more. Can highly recommend this place!

We had a fantastic stay at A Shore Thing! From when arrived at the B&B to when we left we felt extremely welcomed and taken care of. The beach decor is super nice inside of the rooms and the furniture had an elegant look and feel. There were extra small touches such as a throw in the room which was great to use outside on the porch. Breakfast in the morning was absolutely fantastic! Make sure you check out the barn for some custom gifts. We relaxed on the porch and listened to the birds sing. We are a little early in the season but it seems that there are lots of beautiful flowers that will be blooming. We will be back :)
