Ming Garden Chinese Restaurant

This truly is all around the best-tasting Chinese food I’ve ever had. I’ve never had such good rice. I always get mixed vegetables in brown sauce. Nicest assortment of vegetables of anywhere I’ve ordered it from. I’ve gotten basically just broccoli and water chestnuts at other places - but here at ming garden there’s broccoli, carrots, zucchini, and mushrooms, etc. It is so fresh and it tastes really good. I get vegetable fried rice with it and it’s just so well made. The lo mein, fried rice, skewers, anything we’ve had has been great. My mom has gotten many assorted and it is now her favorite place as well.

we're from the bristol area, but are doing a mini vacation in cromwell and after seeing the reviews decided to try here tonight. the portions were huge for the price, and food was amazing. chinese is a hit or miss for me, a lot sits heavy but this didn't! our 1 year old devoured the chicken teriyaki, and he's usually only a french fry type of kid! when my fiance went in to pick up the order he said the staff was super friendly as well. definitely the best chinese food we've had in a long time!!

I have lived in CT since 1996, after moving from the greater Boston area. I have finally found a place with perfectly seasoned food, excellent portions for the price, and great service. Linda always greets me with a warm smile and her attention to detail is impeccable!

Tried this place on a weekday. The restaurant itself is very nice and very clean. I ordered the Sesame Chicken Combo platter, and it was really good. The chicken wasn't simply doused in sauce, but it was evenly coated and added great flavor. The pork fried rice was also good, but a little bit on the dry side. The roll was really good, and the side of fries were cooked with just enough crunch. I will add that the portions are pretty good for what you pay. It's a much better portion than some competing Chinese spots in the area. This is one of the better Chinese spots I have tried since coming to the area. Will continue to frequent and try more of their offerings.

Best Chinese food in Cromwell!!! Love the friendliness of the people and the food is fresh and delicious. We order here at least once a week. My favorite dish is the Singapore Mei Fun with extra curry. My dad is a picky eater, but he absolutely looks forward to his weekly orders of Beef & Broccoli and House Fried Rice. This place is great for takeout. Most orders are ready within 20 minutes of placement. While I have never dined in, tables are available to enjoy your meal. I would not expect a full waiter/waitress experience if you do decide to dine-in.
