Cromwell Creamery

While heading back from the shoreline, I made a quick pit sop in Cromwell at a place called Cromwell Creamery. I wanted a Hot Fudge Sundae and what I ended up with was just what I needed to hit the spot. I had the hard serve vanilla. I was given a choice between walnuts, pecans, or peanuts. I went with the peanuts. Fast, friendly service and good ice cream… What’s not to like?

I bought the banana cream pie and it was super tasty. Decent banana flavor and the graham cracker elevated it heavy. The kiddie size was still sizable and the price was hella cheap. Wish there was a cool place to sit down but hey still nice, right.

Staff were very accommodating and helpful, as I have a dairy allergy. I got the blue moon ice cream, and it tasted amazing. I was on a drive from the Boston area to the NYC area, and this was a perfect place to stop along the way, about halfway through. I'll definitely be stopping there again

Great hard ice cream is hard to find nowadays. It's good that it's still around. Cromwell Creamery also makes their own ice cream, which is cool!

BEST PUMPKIN SOFT-SERVE EVER! They have so many flavors, especially the seasonal ones. Good ice cream, generous, and cheaper than other places. Try the graham slam when it's around!
