Middleburg Common Grounds

I loved this place. The vibes were very small town coffee shop (which it is). The staff was friendly, and there’s lots of flavor options and sandwiches. They do fun seasonal lattes and honestly the flavor was better than a lot of the places I go to in DC! Come here.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Middleburg Common Grounds. I ordered breakfast intending to dine in, but the service I received was completely different from everyone else. While every other customer was served their food properly in baskets, the server deliberately gave me mine wrapped tightly in foil and packed to-go. The food was way too hot to handle or eat like that. When I told her I didn’t order to-go, she lied and claimed I walked away before she could ask. That is completely false. I stayed right there, paid, and even added a tip. It felt like she singled me out. Seeing everyone else eating from baskets while I was handed a hot foil package made me feel unwanted and discriminated. I cannot recommend this place if this is how they treat paying customers. I

Middleburg Common Grounds was underwhelming. The latte and muffin were just okay. My latte was made, but someone else took it because there was no name called or the cup labeled. Service was poor (1 star), though the atmosphere was decent (3 stars) yet small and crowded. Overall, not a great experience - needs TLC and owner involvement.

I got the citrus chicken salad sandwich which was FIRE. The ice vanilla latte was also FIRE! I don’t know if it’s because I was hungry but it was so good!! Approved. Also the pricing was perfect.

Nestled on the main drag in Middleburg, VA is this delightful quaint coffee shop. The Middleburg Common Grounds has great coffee and lots of outside seating to enjoy your hot or iced Joe while soaking up the morning sun. It’s also very dog friendly with water bowls and treats for your furry friends. The staff is super helpful and nice. The breakfast dishes are tasty but small and leave you wanting a little bit more. All in all, a great spot to grab your morning coffee. The vanilla latte was delicious and had me wanting to go grab another to go!
