McCully District Pool

Wonderful 6 lane saltwater pool on a rooftop. Free parking is available in a lot below the pool. My kids are in the middle of high school swim season and needed a place to practice during Fall Break. The lifeguards were very nice and assigned them a lane to share. Arrive early as it does get crowded and there can be waits for lanes. There are even a few kickboards and pull buoys available for use. No backstroke flags or pace clocks so if that’s important try VMAC. Call the phone number for a recording with lap swim hours.

When I was in 5th grade elementary 2023-2024, my school which was 1 or 2 blocks away from this pool helped students and me learn how to swim every Friday afternoon. The trainers were pretty good at teaching and know what to do. If my school never did help students learn how to swim (I think it was the school, could be my teachers too), Iwould still be sitting near the pool.
