McCoy's Grill

The food here is great as well as the people making it. I really enjoyed the Mac and cheese, chicken, corn, rice, together on one plate. I originally planned on getting the breakfast but the lunch is excellent too. Definitely, make this a trip if you come to New Bern. If you don’t, you’re missing out.

First visit to this establishment. My wife and I stopped in for breakfast. We live in Jacksonville. Staff was very nice and professional. We had McCoy's big breakfast. Food was excellent. Great small restaurant. I definitely recommend stopping in to give them a chance. My wife and I will definitely come back to eat.

Great quick stop off route 17. Friendly service. Nicely seasoned collard greens, flavorful ribs, not mushy. Delicious sweet potatoes. Will come back again when in town.

It is a hole in the wall soul food joint. This should excite you! If not, maybe this isn't the spot for you. Came in for the first time today. Had the pork chops with gravy over rice with some mac and cheese. I couldn't make up my mind between the corn and the green beans so they gave me a little of each. Everything is seasoned well and obviously made with love. The pork chops are very tender and the gravy is delicious. They recommended adding a little hot sauce and that was exactly what it needed just to punch it up a tiny bit. Very enthusiastically recommend it and I will be back!

This place is very good soul food. We saw three ladies in there performing magic with their food!!! This is cafeteria style service with magic for food. The Mac and cheese looked beautiful and tasted better. The chicken was delicious!!! Don’t take my word for it…check it out!!!
