Kuma Sushi Bar

My new favorite spot for sashimi. I recently got the assorted sashimi 12pc on Valentine’s Day. The staff is always great and the atmosphere of the restaurant is perfect for a date night. Their matcha ice cream is probably my favorite dessert on their menu.

Place was packed but seated and serviced right away. For drink. Highly recommend Korean tea. We had spicy California rolls fresh and tasty, and Tonkotsu Ramen tempura 🍤 with spicy garlic sauce. Probably best sushi restaurant in New Bern.

A must stop for sushi lovers! Based on a recommendation I ordered the seared salmon roll (only one they sear the fish I was told). Paired with a pinapple sake. It was phenomenal! The vibe is welcoming, but also feels as though you have your own space given the seating. Highly recommend this restaurant.

We have sat at the sushi bar both time and gone at lunch. The service was great and all the things we have tried were delicious. Its very clean and they have a great sake menu as well.

We had dinner here last night. We had a Spicy Salmon roll, Chief Nigiri , warm Sake, Edamame, and seaweed salad. Also friends got steamed vegetable dumplings and Volcano Tuna Roll. Everything was delicious, good portions, prices were fair. The service and staff were so friendly, attentive and helpful. They made the experience enjoyable. While we waited for our food, the waiter made sure we had water and anything else that we could want. It is very clean and new inside. My husband and friends have dined here before but this was my first time here. We will definitely look forward to going here again.
