Meadows Inn Boutique BnB

We had a wonderful time at the Meadows Inn. It was conveniently located to almost everything by foot. We took the 90 minute trolley tour and learned a lot about New Bern and its history. Linda was an excellent innkeeper. The rooms and baths were very clean, breakfast was above-and-beyond delicious, and local restaurants were next door and across the street, as well as 2-3 blocks away. We had never heard of New Bern before; we came in for a niece's wedding. The town was delightful. Clean, crime free as far as we could tell, lots of shops and nightlife, good food and historical sights to behold. It's a haul for us to get there, but we just might do the 11 hour trip again. And we'll be sure to stay at the Meadows Inn.

Second time staying at the Meadows Inn BnB. We were very pleased with our room it was beautifully decorated and very clean. Spacious with plenty of room. Breakfast was always a surprise with Amie bringing us different tasty appetizers and entrees each morning. Within walking distance of the old part of town where all the different shops and restaurants were and also easy access to wherever else you would like to go in the area. It's a nice leisurely place to stay with terrific service and excellent friendly people looking after you. It will be our go to place to stay when we are coming to that area for some vacation days!

My wife & I got married here March 2023. Both of our families filled the rooms up, & we had family & friends staying in rental houses walking distance & the hotel beside Union Point Park! We loved our stay here! My wife & I were just talking about the chicken n waffles cooked for us there the morning after the wedding for breakfast. It was SO good. Neither of us had even had chicken n waffles before that, but we’ve been DYING to know the recipe! The chicken skin was like sweet & acting as the syrup for the waffles!! Would pay for that recipe! 🤣

What a wonderful Bed and Breakfast! Linda and her staff were so friendly, accommodating, and fun. The food was beyond amazing and the rooms were great. There were 12 of us and staying here while exploring New Bern made for the perfect visit!

Highly recommend staying at this beautifully maintained 1847 historic home. Gorgeous woodworking throughout the home, large bedrooms, luxury linens, & well-appointed furniture. We were in town for a wedding & several friends stayed here as well. Walking distance to everything downtown has to offer. Linda, the innkeeper, is an exceptional host & chef. Don’t miss her offering of baked goods or breakfast! Thank you for making our trip memorable.
