Marshalltown Public Library

Leadership uses personal bias to make professional public decisions; refuses to display the popular ‘The Epoch Times’ weekly new paper, even when a supportive local patron offers to purchase the entire subscription cost. A sad uncooperative story.

It's a great place to strengthen children's interest in reading! It has many other options to inspire them to spend more time there!

The staff were very friendly and very helpful. They were patient with helping me order in books. There were a few series that they didn't have and couldn't order, but they aren't to blame on that. Definitely recommend paying a visit throughout the summer and find some good books to read while you're out relaxing in the sun!

This library is fairly new. The facilities are beautiful, lots of light, lots of bright colored artwork. The selection of books is quite expansive. There are convenient drop-boxes in both the front and the back. There are computer's for public use and other media electronics as well. They have public meeting rooms and study rooms with media options available. The children's are is bright, fun, and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful. Parking is ample and they have a wonderful native garden you can walk through in the front. I highly recommend visiting and using this library.

Beautiful library with helpful personnel. Went into use Ancestry. Got a day pass and was shown how to use Ancestry through their library computer. I think I'll actually get a library card so I can check out some books to read. Beats paying for books!!!!
