I have been looking for a bubble tea place in southern Illinois for 6 years and I am so glad that TeaZenTea opened in Marion! It’s just like the bubble tea I used to get in St Louis. They are so nice and their cafe provides such a cute place for hanging out! Try their taro slushy with boba! It’s triple amazing!

More like 3.5, the Boba was absolutely fireee 😍 But the place was super sketchy (shared building with a lottery/bar kind of place 😬) and felt unprofessional and less sanitary. Honestly they should just cut back on all the expensive ingredients (maybe just keep even half the expansive menu) and invest in a better location and better workers. 🙂‍↕️ Honestly I really want to go back because the drink was so good, but I would definitely majorly hesitate if I was going alone or with young kids 😅

Asked the lady questions about the menu and she didn't know anything about it or was too worried about watching stuff on her phone. I've been wanting to try this for a while and decide my birthday was the day I wanted to try it I asked for peach flavor in mine and it wasn't made correct. My friend can't have dairy and she asked the lady 4 times to not put dairy in hers and she still got dairy. Also got the mochi ice cream and it came frozen as a rock I don't know if that's normal. The picture spot they have is cute so that's cool but I wouldn't recommend.

Everytime I come in the staff here is very pleasant! You are greeted with the warm smell of a boba shop! These ladies work very hard and should be appreciated for what they do. I love the strawberry cows from here, my favorite drink next to the caramel creme brulee

Typically I enjoy coming here, however this time I had family from out of town and I was honestly embarrassed. The worker was new. She was fighting with another worker pretty loudly. She had no idea what she was really doing. Several things we asked for she was huffing and saying she just don’t know… my nephew ended up with white milk and strawberry boba in it. Plain…. I ended up with strawberry flavored milk with no matcha in mine and it should have been a matcha latte. The brown sugar milk tea was nasty aa well. After spending 50 here and waiting 25 minutes for drinks we left. Unsatisfied.
