The Downtown Dip

Brought my family here for dessert after dinner and I have to say their ice cream was AMAZING! We got 2 flights, a 2 scoop cup, and a waffle cone. No 2 flavors were the same and they were all SO GOOD! I highly recommend this cute little ice cream shop for your sweet fix!

My new favorite spot in Marion!! I've loved going to the Carterville location ever since it opened, and I'm so excited to have one even closer! The design and atmosphere inside is so fun! And the service is always top notch!! The ice cream is delicious, and I love that they have options that are dairy-free (shout out Carrot Mango 🧡), as well as some sugar-free flavors! And their pazookies! Oh man, I could go on for days, but basically there's something for everyone! 🍦😋 I love the Downtown Dip!

Unique ice cream shop with a variety of ice cream flavors. The waffle cones were great. The staff were friendly and offered for us to try a few flavors if we wanted too. The tables were clean and not sticky.

So many great choices, and new rotations of flavors often. We are so thankful for the Downtown Dip arriving in Marion, and for having later hours than other ice cream shops in the area. An absolute treat for anyone.

What a fantastic place! I love that there are vegan/non-dairy options on the menu, and quite a few! I had the oat milk based mint ice cream and it was so delicious. Can’t wait to go each time I’m in town!
