Baan Thai

There is no way to write a review on Google Maps without selecting a star rating, so I am not sure if the rating I chose is fully justified. I did not see another option to leave feedback. We visited this restaurant today, after stopping by Asian Fusion which I reviewed separately. The person who seated us was very friendly and knowledgeable. When we asked about vegan options, she explained that they do not offer vegetarian or vegan dishes because the base for most items is prepared with oyster sauce or other sauces that are not vegetarian or vegan friendly. The menu had a green leaf icon printed at the bottom of each page to indicate vegan items, but none of the dishes actually had that icon next to them. We also noticed that this place was recommended for vegetarians in some Google Map

We were in the mood for some Asian cuisine but wanted to try something new. We’re so glad that we came here. The waitress was super sweet and friendly. We were seated as soon as we walked in the door. We ordered the shrimp spring rolls & crab Rangoon. The Rangoon was definitely top tier. We then ordered the crispy chicken pad Thai & the beef fried rice. Spice level mild (a great level to begin at). The food came out so fast; appetizer and then entrees. One cook and one server with that type of service. AMAZING! We definitely recommend and will come again.

Best thai food here. Been to Thailand a long time ago and the food is definitely worth it, I would love to come back again! Staff are friendly and food served very quick. Had the Pad thai and Tom Kha, super good. Did not get to have dessert, too full from the great meal but I hope to try it sometime. Highly recommend👍

Our waitress was so sweet! The pho was amazing as well. We will definitely be back :)

I've eaten a lot of Thai food in my life. I like the gauge restaurant based on certain dishes....that's just me. I always order pad se ew....and for me that tells me at least for my preferences a lot about a place. I wanted to get a papaya salad but they apparently don't carry those any longer which was disappointing. The pad se ew didn't have proper wide noodles which is a let down and just was very meh. I asked for extra broccoli and there was hardly any broccoli in the dish just noodles and weren't very good compared to proper wide rice noodles. Then to boot they wanna charge you an extra 2 to 3 dollars for using a credit card. Don't think I'll go back. Not impressed at all with the food. The atmosphere was very relaxing though which was nice. The service charge for using a cr
