Mantis Kitchen

The food at Mantis Kitchen is amazing. Gluten free options that are truly enjoyable too. The granola is the best I’ve ever had, such a great take away after a delicious dinner. Friendly amazing owner too.

The scream I scrumpted when I found out DeAnne makes gluten-free waffles. Going to Mantis Kitchen has become a have to for Sunday Brunch. The local ingredients (hello, lamb sausage) the incredible flavor profiles (here's to you, goat cheese and peach waffles), and the hella fresh food (can you say lamb chop salad), everything on the menu is not just delicious, it's experiencial.

Deanne is awesome. A locally owned business that is serving local food! What more could you ask for. Everything is made by hand and the food truck is parked in an awesome little nook. Can't go wrong.

My husband and I had the pasta special with sausage. It was the best meal we’ve had while in Salida. The crisp, fresh vegetables and a perfect amount of seasonings left me wanting to make another stop before we leave town.

I've had several great meals at Mantis Kitchen! I especially loved the sweet/savory breakfast option. I am usually torn between a sweet waffle or eggs and a more savory palate, but the Ned Special was a perfect blend.
