Very knowledable and friendly staff. They made some changes to my bike to make it fit me better and the results were truly astounding. They were careful to maintain the things I liked so I didn't have to tinker with anything the first time I took it for a ride. I also love that they always look at the whole bike and note other things that need attention other than just looking at what I brought the bike in for. Highly recommend.

Absolute is the best! Shawn, Mike, and the crew always provide amazing service and they have a great selection of bikes and accessories. We seem to always have last minute urgent service needs for our kids bikes before races or our bikes before road trips, and they are always able to take care of what we need. The service recommendations are very honest, and I have never felt like I'm being upsold on unnecessary work. They carry the brands that we like the most, so we always go here when it's time for a new bike. Can't recommend this place enough!

This shop offers an absolute GEM of a custom bike fit. Worth coming to Salida just for that alone. They have an entire dedicated room for this service with custom-built/invented tools to help measure your geometry and then adjust your bike to work with you. Starting with a memory foam molded measurement of your sit bones to get you into the right seat. Just call already and make your appointment! You will be so glad that you did.

I recently visited the shop as someone with very outdated experience in mountain biking, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The staff was approachable and genuinely friendly from the moment I walked in. They were incredibly knowledgeable, answering all my questions with patience and clarity. What stood out most was that they never made me feel like an outsider or pressured me into buying anything. Instead, they focused on helping me understand my options and find what worked best for my needs. Their professionalism and welcoming attitude turned what could have been an intimidating experience into an enjoyable one.
