La Cocina Clayton

I came all the way from Florida, and my friend recommended this place. The experience was incredible! The manager, Ben, and the waiter, Ignacio, made the night perfect. The attention and service were excellent, and the food was spectacular. The place was very clean, and the music was varied. I will definitely come back, and I highly recommend it!

We are long time patrons of La Cocina in Clayton and have visited other locations many times as well. Benjamin at the Clayton location makes us feel like family, taking the time to greet us every time we visit. The staff is full of familiar faces who work together to make sure the food and environment are enjoyable/ memorable each and every time we choose to spend our time and money with them. Tonight we had the pleasure of having Irma as our server for the first time. Top notch! It’s easy to say we recommend, or good place to visit. Our family truly means it. I loved the food, the place, although it’s not the first time I come .... I decided to bring someone very special to me.. and the place left nothing to be desired, the attention was incredible, the quality, the prices, and the family atmosphere of the place.... Ben was as attentive as possible, the bartender incredible, the hygiene ...... and upon arrival there was a Santa Clous that any family would love for incredible Christmas photos😊

This is a good, local chain that offers pretty high quality Mexi/Amer Style meals. The portions are generous and the wait staff were very attentive to your needs. The general atmosphere was clean and fresh. The two meals we sampled were the Grilled Chicken Taco Salad & the Grilled Chicken Taco Loco Salad. They are quite generous on the meat portions, with the grilled chicken being very large (almost tender size) and plentiful. The beans & other fillings were delicious. Our only preference would have been to have a little more lettuce and other fresh vegetables. The fried tortillas were delicious, though the Taco Loco was a little more done but it didn't detract from the flavors.

This place is so ridiculously good! The service is always good and so is the food. They also have a great vibe, perfect for kicking back on a Friday or Saturday night. I love the mangonada and the carnitas burrito roquetta and their steak tacos… 🤤
