The Lover's Bite

This place has been posted on the Facebook GF Gang page so I decided to try it out. Let me just tell you that their fried chicken sandwich with hot honey is one of the most amazing things you will ever put in your mouth. A lot of people were talking about how amazing Beasley‘s honey and chicken gf sandwich was when it came out and this completely blows that out of the water!!! And the sandwich is a good size too, this picture shows just one half of it. Both my mother and myself are GF and from North Raleigh so it’s a good little hike to get there but we both agreed that it is well worth the drive. The loaded fries with braised beef were amazing too and they are working on getting their GF certification but you still don’t have to worry about cross contamination because the entire truck is

Obsessed with this place. I prayed for quality food to come to Clayton, and the fact this is all gluten free is just a bonus. My husband gets the Philly Cheesesteak and it’s one of the best he’s had, he’s not even gluten free. Their boneless wings are amazing, and the Caesar salad with the crust chicken is awesome. The pastas are also great!!! Fried pickles slap too. So happy they came to Clayton!!!

As someone who doesn't have a choice about eating gluten free, it is nice to have a place where I can order from the whole menu. The selection of gluten free food at this place is comparatively stellar. Sandwiches, pasta, and fried goods are all things that are hard to come by at dedicated GF establishments. The food is tasty. The service is friendly and they partner with Elixer VI if you'd like to stay around and socialize. I'm sure I'll drag my friends here at some point. I would definitely suggest for people searching for safe gluten free takeout near Clayton.

I have had Celiac Disease for over ten years and my biggest hurdle is finding somewhere to confidently eat at where I won’t get sick. When I heard about Lovers Bite, I was pleasantly surprised and excited to hear that their entire food menu is gluten free. I went twice, back to back, this weekend and DIDN’T get sick. Also… the food was PHENOMENAL. If you have to eat gluten free, you know what it’s like even buying gluten free stuff from the store; it can be hit or miss.. not the case with the food they serve here. The first day I had the grilled cheese sandwich which was juicy and divine; I couldn’t believe the bread slices were actually sized like “normal bread.” My fiancé doesn’t have to eat gluten free but he ordered one too and LOVED IT. Just found this place a few weeks back. Ive stopped in multiple times since because my options are so limited having Celiac. They have outstanding GF bread and fried chicken. Two things that are exceedingly difficult to come by. Also, wicked nice. Wanted my thoughts on a new dish. Best GF place I have been to in the greater Raleigh area. Please support if you happen to be near Clayton! The connected bar is great too. I just got a Tea while I ate....The bartender was very skilled and kind. Has a cozy vibe that you can sit with your laptop in during the day and just have NA beverages.
