Kon Asian Bistro

Kon Asian Bistro is a gem. The interior is beautifully designed, modern, elegant, and inviting. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and upscale. The service was outstanding. Staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our visit. And the food is Absolutely delicious. Every dish, from the sushi to the hibachi, was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients and put care into every plate. If you’re looking for great Asian cuisine in a gorgeous setting with amazing service, Kon Asian Bistro is a must-try. Highly recommend!

Dined at the Sushi bar and it was relaxing, comfortable and pleasant. Atmosphere wasn't overwhelming. The whole experience was well timed and delicious. Food presentation was beautiful as well as the flavors. From start to finish a great dining experience which hasn't been consistent in the greater portland area. I strongly suggest kon for a nice evening out for dinner.

We absolutely love this place! The hibachi experience was a blast—our chef was not only skilled but incredibly entertaining, making the whole night memorable. The food was exceptionally fresh and cooked to perfection. Even beyond the hibachi, the main dining area offers plenty of seating, a great bar, and consistently delicious food. Highly recommend!

We went for lunch and it was fairly busy. The service was great, the atmosphere was welcoming however the sushi quality was not to be expected for a higher ranked restaurant. I'm rating this against other sushi spots in the area and it lacks the freshness of fish. The hibachi was good but again comparing it to other restaurants in the same area, this spot fell short. I recommend Oshi in Scarborough for the quality and freshness. This restaurant is good in a pinch but would not be my go to. They do have sesame balls which are not readily available in other local restaurants.

Atmosphere and food was great! Service could’ve been much better considering we were a group of 10 so she was guaranteed a 100+$ tip. And management could be way better! Went to tell them that 2 people got burned and blisters from the hibachi table and they said “there’s nothing we can do about that” even after we had spent 700$.
