Kilim Mediterranean

Had a fantastic experience at Kilim in Paramus. The owner greeted us at the door and checked in throughout the meal, which made us feel genuinely welcomed. Our waiter, Kaya, was amazing. He handled every request with warmth and enthusiasm and never once said no. You could really feel his passion. What impressed me most was the entire staff — everyone was hustling with purpose, moving quickly and making sure no one was left waiting. You don’t see that kind of care very often. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Wow what a wonderful restaurant and Asiye the manager is a gem for sure. What a wonderful establishmenf she has put together here in River Edge, NJ. Stumbled on this place while driving through the area for work about 2 years ago. Stopped in and had the lamb and falafel back then and it was so good. Got married shortly after and my wifs believe it or not grew up 20 minutes away in Clifton, NJ. We met and live in Northern Virginia. I told my wife a number of times about how good the lamb was and one day we would ckme here. Well today December 20, 2025 we are here to enjoy this day. I love you mi amor 😘 I hope you enjoyed our dinner. GET THE LAMB CHOPS AND FALAFEL!

Lunch: 5/5 Stars Came here this past Tuesday for lunch. They offer a lunch special that includes a starter, main dish, and soda. For the quality and service you receive $19.50 is a steal! I must say fantastic Turkish Meatballs & Sheperd's Salad. The baklava for dessert had 3 pieces plus ice cream! Delicious! Service: 5/5 Stars Tugchem, she was very sweet, accommodating and attentive. Always filling our waters, asking us how we are doing, and calm hospitable demeanor. Ambiance: Music is calming to have family conversations. Local upscale decor Yes, I'd come back here for lunch again

This place is a hidden gem. Started with the lentil soup and chicken soup, which were both rich and delicious. The Turkish pastry rolls and kibbeh were very tasty, but the calf’s liver was easily the best I’ve ever had! The mixed grill was amazing, every meat cooked perfectly. For dessert, the owner recommended the Pear Dream, which was an unusually great treat. The service was great from both servers and the owner was very friendly. Definitely coming back soon!

We are new to the area and so glad we found this Mediterranean gem! The food was absolutely delicious! They had flavorful meats and generous portions. We got the mixed platter and the zucchini pancakes were delicious! Our server was warm, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. It’s also BYOB, which is always a plus in our books. You can tell this place is loved by the community, the high ratings don’t lie. We’ll definitely be coming back!
