Kilauea House

We were so happy to be at the Kilauea House! The apartment is fantastic (so beautifully and comfortably furnished with so much love to details and so clean) and the food was so much more than we expected! Pam and Dean were very hospitable and helpful. The Kilauea House was definitely a highlight of our trip!

A lot of care is being put into running this place and you as a guest can feel it. The breakfasts in the morning were incredible and private with abundance of breakfast varieties. The hosts are very friendly and easy to contact, they also have good recommendations for the area. There is a small fireplace to enjoy during cold nights. You are very close to the National Park and some restaurants (still driving distance). Arriving before the tour busses can make the national park experience much better. Overall, one of the best experiences we have had. If we would return, it would be to this same place.

They called it Kīlauea House—the House of Five Blessings. And true to its name, every moment spent there felt like a quiet benediction from the island itself. The warmth of the volcano wasn’t limited to its distant glow; it lived in the land, in the mist-kissed rainforest, and most beautifully, in the hearts of our hosts. ABSOLUTELY LOVED this B&B! Dean and Pam (the owners) are just fantastic, thoughtful and helpful. The room is in perfect condition, perfectly decorated and styled, incredibly clean and smelled like everything had just come out of the washing machine! Honestly I have never stayed in an accommodation that was so well looked after. And the breakfast, OMG so varied and tasty! Recommended 100%!

Wir haben uns von der ersten Sekunde an sehr willkommen gefühlt! Pam und Dean sind unglaublich herzliche Gastgeber, das Zimmer (wir waren im Nene-Zimmer) war sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, blitzsauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt. Das Frühstück war unglaublich - wir hätten niemals mit so einem großen und leckeren Angebot gerechnet! Von herzhaft bis süß ist für jeden etwas dabei. Wir waren während unserer halbjährigen Weltreise über Weihnachten hier und waren so glücklich, ein richtiges Zuhause über die Feiertage haben zu können (sogar mit selbstgebackenen Plätzchen).
